Our family camp-site lies in a quiet en peacefull setting just outside the village Cognac-la-Forêt on the edge of the forest, looking out onto the meadows. The camp-site is slightly sloping and we have 68 grass pitches in the sun or shade, separated by hedges (150 - 200 m2) on 4 acres. All our pitches have a view on the forest or on the lovely fields.
From our bar/recreation room (open all season) we serve drinks on our sociable terrace and you can buy an ice-cream. On Sundays until Fridays you can order take out or eat on our cosy terrace. Each morning fresh bread and croissants are available on the camp-site. We deliver it on your pitch.
In our bar you will also find books, games, petanque balls, badminton and tennis rackets, table tennis bats and toys you can use for free. If you want some information about the surroundings or just a chat, please do walk in ! We also have our own selection of hiking and cycle maps (download your digital maps here). WiFi is available on your pitch for a small fee.
Near the recreation room is a playground for small children with a sand pitch, slide and bouncing-bunny. Challenge your friends to a game of petanque or table tennis in front of the terrace of the recreation room. There's also a trampoline.
The playing field with soccer area, swings, climbing frame and badminton net is next to the facility building. Young nature discoverers can amuse themselves by the forest edge of the camp-site area.
Our recent, clean facility buidling provides free hot showers, family showers, wash basins, toilets with toiletseats, nursery, disabled facilities, a sheltered space to do the dishes and laundry and a chemical waste point. We also have a washing machine. Next to the building you'll find a service area for motorhomes.
Within walking distance (800 meters) lies a splendid lake with sandy beach, where you can swim. In the summer months the water quality is monitored and there is supervision. In the kiosk you can buy a drink or ice-cream; ideal for young and old. Next to the swimming lake there is a pond for people who like to fish. It has a beautiful view of the surroundings. Take your fishing-rod and relax ! The swimming lake and fishing pond are also easily reached by car. There are picnic tables and benches present at the waterside. And you'll find a tennis court and a multisports terrain and of course a petanque court under the trees.
